Your image is very yellow, this can be adjusted in curves. Your subject also looks squished, as if you did not hold down shift when transforming the size. These are basic Photoshop tools that you are aware of, please utilize them. Your idea comes across but your artist statement should be more then one sentence, how do you feel about your work, what could you have done differently.
